Nightcliff Retreat: Stylish 2BR Apt Near Foreshore

We liked the apartment it was very ‘Darwin’ with louvres and fans, and good aircon too. Positive: The apartment was fresh and clean. Newish furniture and nice white linen and towels. Negative: Outside was very dirty, ie stairs, balcony window ledges. Also shower could do with a scrub.

Convenient location. Building requires some repairspoutside, most residents appeared to be long ter Positive: Convenient location near foreshore and shopping. Good size apartment. Negative: The apartment complex was old and in need of some repairs. No designated parking. Kitchen utensils were lacking, there was only one small saucepan which had rust. Requested a couple of new saucepans but only one small one was provided. Appears that kitchen cupboards had not been checked for sometime.

This was a good basic level property. Had everything one could need and was recently renovated. Positive: Location was good for us - close to family, but other travellers might find it a bit far from the main Darwin attractions. Had everything we needed re amenities and being recently renovated was all clean and up-to-date. Negative: Lighting to access the stairs and key box at the rear of the property. Tricky in the dark. All the basics were there but the couch has seen better days - was comfortable though.
