Zen Gem: Pool ~ Private Balcony ~ Oceanview

It was good, but the owners need to work on their marketing. I wouldn’t recommend to friends, and that’s a shame. Positive: It was comfortable and convenient distance to the city. Negative: Car park, balcony. There is a loose balustrade which vibrates in the wind-very annoying and loud, too loud. Car park is too low for our 4 wheel drive and accessed from a different property, confusing instructions on how to access it- we didn’t use it. Didn’t like that it’s marketed as Zen but has nothing to do with neighbouring Zen hotel-felt a bit scammie and it shouldn’t because it’s a nice apartment in its own right. Also didn’t appreciate the deposit steal that isn’t upfront- I know we got it back but really!

Negative: Key dodgy, $300 a night for what view
